Are
you a referral website?
No. We do not provide with counseling/psychiatric
referrals. The main goal of iPsychotherapist
is to provide an online place for professionals
to network. However, non-professionals
are welcome to browse the website, including
our Therapists
Directory.
Can
I ask you a question on how to deal with
my psychiatric condition?
We do not give advice on how to handle
psychiatric issues. We often receive such
type of feedback, and we apologize but
we cannot give advice.
How
can I locate a psychotherapist I have
not seen for a long time?
Try to find him/her in our Therapist
Directory. If you cannot find him/her,
try the State
Licensing Boards webpage, and search
the name in the State Board website.
How can I be listed
in your directory? I am a mental health
professional.
First you need to become a member. For
more information on how to become a member,
read the information in our How to Join
webpage.
I
do not want to be listed in your site,
but I want to receive email updates.
No problem. Just add your name to our
Newsletter, and we'll keep you updated
about current events related to the mental
health field and to iPsychotherapist.
Can I add my website to the Resources
Directory?
Unless your agency it is a non-profit
agency, or a site that contains resources
not found anywhere else, we may not add
you site to our directory. Such website
belongs to the members
area, which carries a
membership fee.
